6 POTTED TREES YOUR LANDSCAPE CLIENTS WILL LOVE
If you’re working on projects that require easy-to-manage material or have limited access with large equipment, potted trees could just be the answer.
We’ve put together a list of our favourite potted trees clients will love.
#1 AUTUMN BLAZE MAPLE
An all time favourite. This tree is a solid choice across the board. We love them so much we planted a row of them leading up to the nursery!

- Gorgeous red fall colour (anyone feeling patriotic will love this tree)
- Tolerant of poor soil
- Hardy

- Hardier than most Hawthorns
#3 AUTUMN BRILLIANCE SERVICEBERRY SHRUB
It’s nice to have an option for clients that is more contained. The Autumn Brilliance Shrub is a perfect way to add a consistent pop of colour whether framing a feature tree or lining a yard or driveway.

#5 IVORY SILK JAPANESE LILAC
We had a lilac tree in our backyard growing up and it’s one of the most vivid memories I have of our yard. The arrival of the fragrant clusters of flowers always signified the end of a school year and the beginning of summer. The Ivory Silk variety puts a spin on the classic lilac tree with its creamy white flowers.
Special Features:
- Lots of fragrant flowers!
- Drought resistant
- Small, compact, great for small spaces.
#6 GREENSPIRE LITTLELEAF LINDEN
Many small things, when combined, contribute to something significant. This large tree has small, delicate features like fragrant flowers and heart shaped leaves. Together, they give the tree a unique, gentle vibe while still being a great shade tree.
Special Features:
- Fast growing
- Great shade tree thanks to its large canopy
- Small fragrant flowers
- Heart shaped leaves
